The online store displays all the product range, from over two thousand products, split into the six main categories of castors, wheels, tube fittings, adjustable feet, handwheels and handgrips and finally our accessories range. Customers can shop from all the ranges, as the new site offers alternative versions, additional suggestions and useful products that customers require, such as axles and bolts and nuts for fitting.
The launch in February started with a bang as the first orders started to arrive. Indeed the very first order was from a boat yard in Dorset, where a customer required boat trolley wheels. As a thank you for his business, and because we were extremely excited, we decided to deliver these wheels to him personally, rather than using our next day delivery service from Fed Ex. A very surprised and grateful customer in Dorset was intrigued to see the Managing Director arrive with a set of nylon castors in his hands! Within minutes, our first internet castors customer had the nylon castors fitted, and posed for this photograph.
Over the last two month rosscastors.co.uk has helped many happy customers, and we have received lots of positive feedback and suggestions. The website is still in its infancy and we are developing it on an on-going basis, to make to product offering, and shopping process as clear, simple and easy to use as possible. ‘Its just what we do!
