Last year our wheels helped to lead Pullman Instruments to victory at the annual Knaresborough Bed Race, 2015. This year the team were back with a different name, the Flow Mon Bandits, but the same trusty Ross wheels.
Flow Mon Bandits runner, Nathan Smith, said, “It was a good, hard race this year, but our bed and wheels did the trick. Last year we were 12th overall; this year we finished the course 35 seconds faster and defended our title as 1st mixed team again.”
However, this year the Flow Mon Bandits were not the only ones rolling their beds across the finish line on Ross wheels! The Half Moon Free House Pub, Knaresborough, finished in 12th place whilst Bed Guru, Otley, Came in 73rd.
Carl Walsh from Bed Guru said, “We all thought we were fit until the bed race! We found Ross purely by chance having seen that they supplied castors for the race last year and we know we made the right choice.”
Walsh continued, “It was a great day and the wheels worked perfectly. Another team had two punctures during the parade part of the day and luckily we had bought old spares with us and were able to help.”
