Haycube founder, Danielle Steed, began selling her portable hay feeder product, Haycube, in 2013. With ever-increasing demand and a problem with her current supplier, Danielle needed strong, weatherproof wheels from a company she could trust, and Ross Handling had the solution.
The revolutionary Haycube is designed to imitate a natural feeding position and limit the amount of hay wasted per feed. Two wheels along the rear mean ‘the cube’ can transport hay with ease, but the small, metal centred wheels tended to rust and struggled over the rough terrain. Ross made it their mission to come up with an alternative.
Danielle explains, “I found Ross online and realised they were close to my business. The new 150-PV wheels are a lot better at handling the terrain, they add height to the Haycube without weakening the product and the plastic wheel centres mean we have no problems with water.”
Haycube have already taken delivery of 250 150-PV wheels from Ross Handling, but Danielle says she is only just getting started. “Though I currently only purchase wheels from Ross Handling, the team have been very helpful in looking into plastic parts for the cube itself and it is hoped Ross will soon be providing other components to me as well.
“I would definitely recommend Ross Handling for their pro-active approach, helpful customer service and great advice. As for Haycube, I was always happy with the wheels I used to purchase, but now I am even happier with the new style – as are my customers!”
