Corporate teambuilding specialists Fresh Activities, has placed an order with Ross Handling for beach-suitable pneumatic go-kart wheels.

Specialising in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Fresh Activities and their sister company CorporActivity organise fun and challenging teambuilding activities for groups of 10 up to 10,000 people, working with a variety of large corporations in Barcelona and the UK.

One of these original exercises, ‘teambuilding on the beach’, involves participants working together to build a go-kart and finishes in a light-hearted race. However, travelling over sandy terrain was proving difficult. Scott Doane, founder of Fresh Activities, explains, “We originally had smaller wheels that sank into the sand, making it difficult to manoeuvre. We definitely needed to find larger, more suitable wheels.”

Whilst searching online for replacements, Scott came across one of the UK’s leading suppliers of wheels and castors, Ross Handling and was delighted to find that they had exactly what he was looking for. Scott continues, “We decided on Ross Handling pretty quickly; they had the 400mm pneumatic wheels we needed for just the right price. This makes for a better suited go-kart.”

Scott concluded, “The new wheels arrived just in the nick of time and worked perfectly; we were able to run the go-karts over the soft sand for a safe and fun team challenge.
