Part of NASA’s mission is to improve the way in which space transportation works. By testing prototype aircrafts in wind tunnels they can assess what works and what doesn’t, how the air will effect propulsion and if an object or aircraft is designed in a way which will keep the cargo safe.

With such a high profile client Vantage was very secretive with the details, but what we do know is that our heavy duty RH8-200-SUB/SWB jacking castors have been employed by NASA to be used as part of their wind-tunnel testing machine. Well, we can only imagine exactly what role our castors are having in the future of space travel!
