Big projects for our little wheels

SAS International is a global leader in the manufacture of interior products and also a long-standing Ross Handling customer. For two years the company have been using our corner skates to support some of the most prestigious projects in the world, and when SAS needed a bespoke solution for one of their clients they came to us in search of nylon and polyurethane castors.

For two years the company have been using our corner skates to support some of the most prestigious projects in the world, and when SAS needed a bespoke solution for one of their clients they came to us in search of nylon and polyurethane castors.

SAS International’s latest project sees them working on the new European head office for, Bloomberg L.P. Situated in the heart of London’s financial quarter, the new premises will play a key part in the financial software, data and media giant’s European and global growth.

To deliver on the project the company needed to build dollies which could transport building materials around the 3.2 acre site. With health and safety a key consideration, it was decided that smaller and more efficient skids were needed and that our nylon and polyurethane wheels were perfect for the job.

We’re delighted our wheels could help SAS International achieve this bespoke solution and that our products are playing their small part in the future ambitions of Bloomberg.
