Our heavy duty caster wheels are used predominantly by fabricators with the version containing a polyurethane wheel being the most popular. 

We offer a variety of wheel materials including nylon, cast iron and polyurethane with the 6000 series. However with polyurethane wheels being the most popular choice we thought we would share some of the benefits:

Noise reduction Polyurethane tyres are much quieter in operation compared to harder wheels such as steel or cast iron which can help protect employees hearing.

Load Capability  Due to the hardness of the materialpolyurethane tires can provide a larger load capacity whist still providing the same benefits of a rubber wheel these include noise reduction, shock absorption, and floor protection.

Floor Protection  Although polyurethane castors come in a selection of colours polyurethane is generally mixed with a colourant, locking the colour into the material meaning it cannot leak or mark floor surfaces.
