About little information on 316 stainless steel:
While similar to 304, which is commonly used within the food industry, 316 stainless steel has an added amount of molybdenum and nickel content which makes it suitable for use in severely corrosive conditions. With offshore and marine industries exposed to a high salt spray content, you'll find 316 grade stainless is the most commonly used marine grade stainless steel.
Each castor within our new AISI 316 stainless steel caster range features a nylon wheel benefiting those in a marine environment for several reasons including:

- Resistance to tear, wear and impact damage
